The Jubilee Centre for Character and Virtues was founded by Professor James Arthur and Dr Jack Templeton, previously President of the John Templeton Foundation.
Bringing together people from a range of expertise and industries, the Centre is world-leader of interdisciplinary research. The key focus is on rigorous research and teaching to develop ‘character, virtues and values in the interest of human flourishing.’ The Centre promotes good character in education, the workplace and society as a whole. Based in the UK but with a global focus the Jubilee Centre for Character and Virtues is the leading body on practice and policy around character education. Fostering partnerships and relationships, and advocating for the flourishing of us all is the core driver of the Centre’s activities.
The Jubilee Centre for Character and Virtues has a global reputation for its research on character education, and has developed a number of excellent, and freely available resources for educators, schools and individuals.
